Korean Spicy Ramen Challenge.

Couldn't believe i've abandoned my blog for more than a month. Glad to be back! I've got so much to blog about but i've been very occupied. Luckily i'm currently having a week of holiday because it's Deepavali! yay haha. I see a lot of colleges/ universities are still having classes, we MAHSAians have a week of holidays probably because there's a lot of Indian working in MAHSA? haha idk. I'm just glad to have a break. Dr. James, the head of FIS Department (he's not a Malaysian!) once said, Malaysia have a lot of holidays due to the variety of festivals we (all races) celebrate. If we were to join all the races in the world, we're probably gonna have holiday all year round lol. 

Anyways, back to the topic. This Spicy Ramen has been around for quite some time. The girls and i had always wanted to try it cause it sounded interesting. Vivian went to AEON supermarket at Mid Valley (a lot of people are asking where to get it so yeah, you're welcome) to get a packet of five. We waited until everyone is back in hostel from their respective hometowns, waited until our tests are over (so just in case our stomach couldn't take it, it would be troublesome for the test) and headed over to Vivian's room to taste the ramen. Wanted to take a video and maybe out it on YouTube but too bad i'm not good in making videos lol. Scroll on and let the photos do the talking :)

personally, i think the serving is quite big, couldn't have finished it alone. 

we also prepared milk, because milk is said to help sooth the spiciness.

we cooked the noodles one by one because we only have one electronic pot.

You just cook the ramen like how you would cook you instant noodles,
because it is instant noodles la.

Amelia is the first to try cause we decided to let those who cannot take spicy food to try first.

we started teasing her for finishing the ramen so she quickly offered us ramen haha which we didn't (or rather, couldn't) take anymore lol 

This ramen is no joke. I actually have no idea what is it called cause i've seen people calling it "spicy ramen", which is pretty self explanatory because its spicy and it's ramen, "fire noodle" probably because its a noodle that puts you on fire?, "samyang ramen" samyang is the brand name?, "spicy chicken roasted noodle" nah trust me when i say you won't get to taste "chicken" at all. 

The smell of the noodle was spicy already. The minute you pour the spicy sauce on the noodles, you can smell the spiciness already. It taste okay at first, but when your taste buds register the spiciness, when you receptors are stimulated and your effectors start working, you will go numb, i felt like i lost my tongue! Actually, there's also sesames in the package but nah, you won't notice the sesame when you eat the ramen. The ramen itself was bouncy and chewy la, can't be too negative about the ramen lol. Anyways, I do not like the noodles, i would not want to try it again haha. The End. Haha.
