Virgin Eyelash Extensions Experience at Bubble Gum Lash

2 weeks old lash extensions

I've been procrastinating so much, i actually got my lashes done again, for the second time, at Lash Lab Subang, but then I wanna blog about the one i got from Bubble Gum Lash first la. Blogging about my extensions two months after i got them enables me to tell you about how long it lasted & what it did to my lashes too so i guess the procrastination isnt all bad? haha

Two months ago, i visited Bubble Gum Lash Puchong with Yin Ruo. It was approximately 30 minutes away from our campus la. I've always wanted to get eye lash extension and Bubble Gum Lash was having a first trial promotion for RM79, after seeing some pretty decent reviews, I made an appointment with them via IG dm, they called me a day before my appointment for confirmation. The entire process was really quick and hassle free. I went to their saloon at Puchong and i loved their whole exterior and interior, super instagrammable aha #millennials

Upon arriving, we were greeted warmly by their staffs, then they explained the types of lashes they have to offer to us. I picked the natural look, which is 1:1, meaning they put one lash on every lash i have. They suggested C curl, 11mm, doll so i listened to the experts la. I also got an add on, their collagen eye mask which was RM29.

We were seated on a reclined sofa, which was super comfortable with a blanket and a pillow to hug, pretty thoughtful of them la! The whole process took around 2 hours, the girl who did my lash was pretty nice & friendly, her name is Java & she's from Vietnam if i'm not mistaken.

3 days after the extensions

as vain as it sounds, i freaking love my new lashes haha

15 days later, i actually like them even more after some of the extensions fell off because it looked a lot more natural.
it simply looked like i curled my lashes & applied mascara perfectly.
 

So here's a few questions i got asked the most after getting my lashes done:

1. Did it hurt?

 Mine stung a little half way through the session at Bubble Gum Lash. I was told that it's nothing to be worried about, it's just the glue stinging my eyes. My lasher (lol, i heard people at Lash Lab Subang using that term so i'll just use it la) used a small fan to soothe the pain. There were redness in my eyes and i was tearing for a bit; it was pretty painful initially, then it subsided a little & became more bearable la, it went away 3-4 hours later. That was at Bubble Gum Lash.

When i did mine at Lash Lab just a few days ago, my eyes only started to hurt when i open my eyes when it's done, but it went off really quickly so it's not really worth mentioning la!

You know what's funny? I had dinner with Peter after getting my lashes done at Bubble Gum Lash, my eyes were still hurting from the glue, i told Peter i'm feeling pain from my eyelash extensions, then this convo happened:

P: Of course it's painful to pluck your eyelashes out.
Me: *lmao-ed* who told you i went to pluck my eyelashes? why would i pay someone to pluck my eyelashes? why would i pluck my eyelashes?
P: Idk what girls do for beauty.

I'm pretty sure he mistaken eyebrows for eyelashes hahaha. But then tho, i've tried plucking out my eyelashes, there's one eyelash on my bottom lid that's growing inwards at the inner corner, idek why but it's irritating the hell out of my eye, so I tried plucking it out because it's irritating my eye, it was so painful as i was pulling on it with a tweezer but it didn't budge at all so i gave up and lived with the irritation.

2. How long does it last?

Mine looked pretty good for over a month. I expected it to look weird and messy after some time, i was contemplating if i should spend another amount of money to get them removed, turns out there's no need for that. The inner corners and the middle part fell off first, the outer corner lasted longer, & it gave me a really subtle cat eye look effect which i totally dig!

3. Does it hurt my own lashes?

I don't think so. It's normal for the natural lash to shed, so don't worry when you see your lashes falling off, it's normal and has nothing to do with the extension.

4. Would i do it again?

I couldn't remember the last time i curled my lashes or applied mascara. I've always liked having nice looking lashes. Plus, i don't have to deal with my mascara smudging all over my under eyes. Also, the extensions made me look like i was wearing a really natural eyeliner, which is perfect since i really like how eyeliner looks but i've never mastered the art of drawing a perfect eyeliner aha. So yes! (& i just did hahaha!)




I guess that's all for now, haven't blogged in so long, i almost forgotten how to blog lol. I just realized i didn't take as much pictures as i thought i did, I should probably take more pictures next time aha!
