Two girls in the kitchen !

Yesterday I crashed over to Jess's house after joining Methodist Boy School's International Day. I'll blog about MSB IU day later on when i am done collecting photos, yes, i took loads of photos with loads of people but i hadn't arrange them yet so i'll need some time. According to Jess, she seldom read what people write on their blogs, she just scroll for photos, but i am not photo genetic, i don't have pretty sights to capture and even if i have, i am not a skilled photographer so i'll just continue with knocking crap on my keyboard, oh not to mention the fact that i am not good in English like the other bloggers considering that i take no tuition and English is not my mother tongue yet i think English is much easier than Mandarin so yeah. I have no idea why am i talking about that LOL.

Back to the topic. I think my title is cute, don't you? LOL. So obviously the two girls are Sheunny & Jesslyn. Uhh, what was i planning to say again? ... I must be the dumbest person on earth, i went to read back what i just typed and i remember i intended to post about our "ice cream making" experience LOL.

Jess said it taste more like sorbet, i think it taste good and banana-ish. Actually this is not the first time we attempt to make ice cream, months ago she came over to my house to make once but it was a failure. Lesson learnt - Don't put milk, plain banana will do !

So first of all (yes, i am gonna teach you how to make a banana ice cream now which is all natural *thumbs up!*), you'll have to prepare bananas (okay, *don't throw bananas at me first* i know you'll be like, you don't say?!) In my opinion, it's better to use the big ones rather than the finger sized ones. You have to put it in the freezer in advance. One more thing you should  know : Peel the banana before freezing them! Or else you'll have a hard time peeling it when it's as cold & hard as ice! Jess was a true genius for freezing the bananas with the skin on twice *rolls eyeball* so we had to use the knife to cute them off. It was a mess!

There, finally done with cutting of the skin, throw the bananas in your blender!

Yes, no typos, not left outs, it's just that simple, all you need is banana ! Banana itself is sweet enough already and it contains water so you really don't need to add anything in the blender. You may choose to add chocolate chips later on as toppings, or raisins maybe, a healthier choice.

Jess at work!

Yes, we were still in our dresses because we're too busy to get change HAHAHH :)

Onomnom! :3
We opted kit kat as topping since we couldn't find anything else that fits.
Without the kit kat, this would be a truly nonfattening ice cream!
Perfect for people like me who is trying to shed some pounds
(i use pounds instead of kilograms lately because pounds is more detailed i think?
the calculator i use online are mostly in pounds too so yeah, convenient)

This is actually a candid shot LOL.
I was so eager to savour our self made ice cream so there's my greedy face captured by Jess
Ignore the background, messy i know :P but the main point is the girl in the little black dress !
To sum the whole recipe, umm, is it even considered as recipe? Idk la, all you have to do is freeze the banana WITHOUT the skin and blend it! If you're on diet like me, but you happen to be craving for some treats/desserts, why not make your own banana ice cream instead of baskin robbins? I can assure you it taste equally good and you'll not feel guilty after eating it!

That's all for now. Stay tuned for more updates!

Lots of love,
Sheunny x
