Sky Dining at Hallaway KL

Ever since Mama Lau mastered Facebook (well, she hasn't mastered mastered it yet, but she knows her way around it la), she's been suggesting all these new places we should visit/ try out, and Hallaway KL happened to be one of them. I've seen people sharing about this place on Facebook too, featuring a 180 degree KL view, fantastic dining experience as well as afforadable food and beverages, scroll on & i'll tell you what i think hehe.

they have this giant screen that plays movies, with bean bags, in open air,
i'm definitely loving the concept!

there's one screen at the indoor hall too la, without the beanbags.

There were both indoor seating and outdoor seating. We were there early, around 6pm so we got to choose our own seats. It was a Saturday when i visited, by 7pm the place was packed, people had to queue up in a long line for tables, so do go early, or make reservations!

Personally i don't think there's that big of a difference, sitting indoor and outdoor, the view wasn't as "breathtaking" as it claims to be, but then it was slightly foggy/misty/hazy - i couldn't tell - when i was there. But then again it's still quite a distance from the so called KL view la. So yeah. Absolutely loved the fairy lights indoor though, i have a thing for fairy lights, what to do. Besides admiring the KL view, you can also catch the beautiful sunset there la, i kinda have a thing for sunsets too haha.

You can opt for a cashless payment where scanning a QR code is all you have to do, or pay by cash the conventional way at the counter. Upon ordered, you would be given a tiny beeping thing - I do not know what is it called lol - but when your food is ready to be collected, it will start beeping and vibrating la. Just like the one at Snowflake (well, the first time i've seen this technology was when i was still in high school, trying Snowflakes for the first time hahahah)

oh they have cakes too!

I forgotten to take pics of our drinks, but they were nothing special la, not that overpriced too. As you can see, it's quite an affordable meal, just like what they claimed to be. Taste wise, it was passable la, the burger was surprisingly my favourite, followed by the aglio olio.

That's pretty much it la. I think it was worth a visit, it's quite a decent sky dining experience. It would be nice to come here with friends so you can reserve the big comfy round table, have a few drinks with a view, without burning a hole in your pocket ;)
