Family trip to the North 2

So finally here i am to continue blogging about my family trip to Penang Island last holiday. You know, school starts and everything are forced back on track, sure as hell it feels bad, but you just gotta push through it and things will get better, don't give up, keep the faith. Motivation/ Inspiring words aside. Now scroll on and let the photos do the talking.

Buffet breakfast!
Told ya, i am on diet, so i eat as clean as possible.  Fruits & cereals are perfect!
I've been craving for fruits since i went Taiping but i couldn't find any fruits so finally my cravings are satisfied.

Guess my favourite fruit! :P

Kiwi i think? my current favourite is kiwi :3

I should have wore my sunnies haha. I was looking at a wrong direction
but i love the background, idk how to crop me out so ignore me.

We headed to Penang Hill after packing ourselves up with chemical energy from the breakfast.
I loved the enviroment there. I wore long sleeves today cause i got sun burnt yesterday ;(

Do remember to bring your IC or anything to prove yourself as a Malaysian (if you are la of cuz)
Cause the ticket fares for the train up Penang Hill is like triple for foreigners :x
and if you can't prove you're a malaysian, you just gotta spend more.

There's my lovely grandparents :)
We took this train up to the Penang Hill. It is peak season so it's pretty crowded
but two tourists from Taiwan i supposed, gave their seats to my grandparents and joined us standing.
On behalf of my grandparents, thank you kind hearted people once again !

Don't forget to give up your seats to the elderly yo!

Please remind me to wear sunnies next time or look at the camera properly.

My dad is a bad photographer. He was like, "Come, i help you take."
Then he just captures whatever he sees as long as your head is in the picture without looking if you're looking at the camera or not.  asdfghjkl

I love this photo :D
See, a second example for my dad's epic photographing skill.
Maybe i should stop uploading them considering how stupid i look in those "overly-candid" awkward (&ugly) pose.

Hi sis.
"Pattern more than badminton"

Don't you just hate it when you like the photo so much but someone come in and ruin it? Ughhh.

If you ask me, i would say it's not worthy.

Can i say this is ancient?

Another shot that i love deep deep haha :P

Hadn't been taking any selfies for some time so yea :P

Took the train to get back down unwillingly.

xx

The famous local rojak
Sorry, only had one photo taken during lunch haha cause it was like three something and we were all famished.

After lunch, we had a tour in the car around the town, sight seeing and stuff. We visited KOMTAR but the place was kinda boring if you ask me, it's probably only popular back then when there isn't much shopping centre around. But it is still a landmark for it's height. I didn't manage to take any photos because i forgotten. Eeeps! Sorry. We went back to the hotel to take a rest after being outdoor for the whole day.

Gym! I really wished i have all these at home.
My mummy isn't willing to fetch me out to gym and i really like to workout and burn some calories.

Dear fats, although i am not a pyromaniac, i swear i am going to burn you. Sincerely, me.

Sorry, i don't have workout attire so i just wear something random. LOL
Actually i chilled at the meditation pool too after that but i didn't have a photo of that so i didn't mention that on top, i feel as if someone sent me to paradise after working out in the gym until every part of me are burning then rest at the meditation pool to soothe the sore! Absolutely perfect!

Then we went out to the popular tourist spot- Gurney Drive for dinner. That place is super duper crowded, everywhere is bustling with activity at full swing!  Basically the seats are "unofficially owned" by the stalls that sell beverage, so if you take the seat there, you must buy drinks from that particular stall only or they will chase you away. You have to be early if you wish to find a desirable seat.

Look at the crowdddd.
"People mountain people sea" LOLOL

see, i ain't lying. every single direction is busy!

Daddy's. "Oa jian"  Some oyster and egg thing.
I don't eat oyster so i did not try but daddy says it's nice, there was a generous amount of oyster

Pasembur! I am in love with it haha.

The food there was so-so.
I didn't have the chance to eat the super good ones cause the queues are crazy.
I shall consider re-visiting the place some day ;)

Day two at Penang ended with dinner at Gurney Drive.

Summarize highlights of the day ~
Lovely Breakfast in hotel -> Penang Hill -> Sight seeing -> Gym + pool -> Dinner at Gurney Drive

All in all, well spent day again!

Proceed to day three! :)

Cheerios !
I actually ate is with yogurt, it's at the bottom lol

tbh, it's my first time eating cheerios.

Oatmeal porridge.
I think usually only old people eat oatmeal? But i love oatmeal LOL.
I have weird taste.
I love spending time at the beach!
So since it's our last day and we're gonna check out soon, i decided just stroll along the beach after breakfast.

so tumblr-ish

Have i mentioned how much i enjoy walking on the beach bare feet and letting the water touching my feet ever so constantly?

It's superbly relaxing!

A must-do at the beach haha

you should have expected this haha.

Before leaving Penang :D

We spent like hours looking for this place cause most of the roads in Penang are one way
so we gotta turn a big round every time we go a wrong direction

Yums :P
But is' worth the time.

We took a different route back. Our Penang bridge :)

That's pretty much everything about my Penang Trip. This trip is sure a memorable one and i can't wait to spend another holiday at Penang soon! Signing off to bed now! Monday tomorrow! I'm excited to see my friends again! x
