my short bangs are back. A little bit too short tho.
Had a haircut in Taiping due to boredom LOL.

Yours truly & her lovely sis.
don't rotate the photo because it is meant to be upside down. haha. sometimes things look better in a different way

We took ferry :D

Actually this is the second time i've been to Penang, but i don't remember much from my first trip to Penang because i was way too young back then (and yea, i'm getting older now, someone told me i have goldfish memory and i won't forget that HAHAHH :P)

I enjoyed the ferry ride although it wasn't anything fancy. Once we reached Penang, we were all in high spirits and food hunting mode was turned on. We headed straight to the famous asam laksa stall which we saw on a television show previously, located near the kek lok si temple. It took us quite some time to reach there because the traffic was awful. What can you expect, it's holiday and Penang is a popular tourist spot.

Personally i think it tastes so-so.
I didn't really ate much as i was afraid of pimples. sighs,
i was told that i don't know how to enjoy myself for the sake of holidays. Maybe it's true.

BTW, did my photographing skills improved? LOL

Grandma, Grandpa & Mummy

Asam Laksa!
My mum said it was good, so did my grandparents. Don't ask for my opinion as i am not a fan of laksa.

I don't like things that are spicy and sour at the same time #SheunFact

There are loads of stalls all along the road to the temple and the prices are pretty cheap. #OnlyInMalaysia

Mummy bought her hat. She has so many hats at home that i lost count because she always go buy
whenever we go to a sunny place YET she still buys *basically i am complaining that she always disallow me to buy more clothes saying that i already have a lot but she continues buying hats, you get what i am saying? cool*

I wasn't actually ready for the camera but you can't see my eyes so yay
One thing i really like about sunnies HAHAHH

Got my sunnies from f21 the other day. Wanted to buy a fitover initially,
which is a sunglasses that you can wear over your spectacles but since i would be wearing contact lenses
and fitovers aren't that pretty so no fitovers.

In front of the temple, there's this pond place with loads of tortoises. You can buy a handful of vegetables at RM1 only to feed them.

My grandma has an epic smile.

You have to place a small amount of administration fees to visit this place but it's totally worth it.

Beautiful isn't it!

Panoramic view from the top of the temple.

After visiting the kek lok si temple, we went to the hotel. Just in case you're wondering, we stayed at Bayview Beach Resort.

Perfect for one family :)

I'm the one with the long hair and there's my sister right behind me LOL

i can't believe i actually went to play at the children's place where everyone was like half my height

Oh a rainbow!

My first jet ski experience! i love it! It's only RM70 per ride for 15mins fyi
After hours in the pool and beach, we headed out for dinner at a random hawker centre located along a busy street

I saw people reccomending this on the television so i decided to give it a try. Turns out that is's not bad.
Except a little too spicy haha *i can't take too spicy food*
Oh, how can i forget to mention the name? It's called Pasembur, an indian food.

just in case you're wondering why is this photo so small
my sister told me to put it small like so. haha. so that explains everything

I know the photo is bad. The light was uneven so sorry :(

That was my first day in Penang. In a nutshell, it was well spent and memorable. I enjoyed myself a lot and i am glad to soend some quality time with my dear family.

That's all for now. Took me hours to post this. Like seriously. Stay tuned for Part 2 ! x
