Getting Fit !

What does the word 'FIT' connotes to you?

  F for facebook
I for instagram
T for twitter

HAHAHAHAH is that funny? I find it funny la, okay, i don't need you to tell me that i am lame...

I'm embarking my fitness journey already! Oh what am i saying zzz I started working out at home with YouTube and my yoga mat as my loyal companion since last August. I am dying to get toned, i hated how fat i was and so i made a drastic change. I had been dying for abs since November so tried everything i could. Finally, I saw slight difference in the way my stomach look in January, all along i had been ultra conscious about my stomach because i have a really shameful waistline but i am proud to say that i gained the confidence i always wanted now.

I know my abs aren't even the tiniest bit defined yet but i can really feel them building, everyone has abs, but they are covered with fats that's why you won't see them.

I wouldn't say that i am satisfied with my progress because it took me three times the time people usually take to achieve that. I hadn't been making any progress ever since January and i still couldn't point out what went wrong or anything so far mainly (and sadly) because i don't have anyone to refer to or ask for advice.
My goal in a month's time!

This is what I am trying to achieve in a month's time !

I am not trying to be ripped or anything, one step at a time, I'll share my next goal when i get this haha

There's two apps i have on my phone that helped me a lot in my fitness journey :

1) MyFitnessPal

This helped me to control my diet and be wise in choosing what to eat and what to not. I used to use it to count calories everyday and i did successfully lose some weight but then I get pretty upset sometimes when i exceed the 1200 calories goal -fyi, i should be eating 1500 on normal circumstances- and i had lost the weight i wanted so i stopped counting calories now but i have all the calories of the things i eat on daily basis etched in the back of my mind so i somehow still manage to keep track of what i eat and control myself which is something i am proud of.

Also, i am able to add friends in the app and keep each other motivated. I get to update statuses and receive comments or replies from my friends even though i have never met them but they are like a bunch of really close intimates to me. Sometimes i would even post status about my feelings or problems when i can't find anyone else to talk to and they would offer my priceless advices or comfort.

2) Blogilates

This app is so pretty! Cassey ( the creator ) is a really beautiful woman, inside and out.
There are workout calendar (which you have to pay 0.99$ monthly), videos ( also available on youtube ),  forum, recipes and her shop!

So these are the videos i had been doing :)

And this forum is great! We call ourselves "POPSTERS" in the "blogilates society". Popsters keep each other motivated and on track throughout the journey because everyone is fighting for the same thing. Getting things done with friends who share the same goal is always much better than doing it alone. We help each other without asking for anything in return which is a really lovely thing.

So that's all for now. Please drop me messages or anything at the comments below or you can head over to my ask.fm/sheunny.com which is much convenient. Meanwhile, drink more water as the air pollution/weather condition is really bad recently!

Love,
Sheunny
