Dining @ Marché, The Curve.

Hello.

I went to IKEA/ IPC/ The Curve last Saturday, i love going to IKEA/ IPC/ The Curve because it's like a 3-in-1 to me, because they are all located next to each other so we can get food, furniture, clothes, grocery, and so much more in one stop. Tell me i am not the only one who think so lolol there's even Kid Zania a stone throw away but i think i'm overage for it, sadly. I've been wanting to visit Kid Zania since two years ago i think when it was newly opened. Both of my sisters went on a school trip but i was already form 3 back then, unfortunately, plus nobody of my age would go together with me, i don't wanna look like the only giant in place so i didn't go there yet til now. Somehow i heard that it's not as interesting as it seems, and more suitable for primary/kindergarten kids from my friends who went so yeah. I guess I'll never be going there...wait where was i?

Okay, i went to The Curve and began my food hunt. Since it's been sometime since i last go out, mid terms exams, you know, I was hungry for some good food. Scroll on and let the photos do the talking.

WARNING:

YOU ARE NOT ADVISED TO READ THIS POST ON AN EMPTY STOMACH.

And so I picked Marché Restaurant, since it's no my to-do-list on foursquare and i coudln't recall where is this place until i stood at the doorstep, I was like, ahhhhh this place ! I remembered eating here years ago when i was still in primary lolol this restaurant has been here for quite sometime already la. FYI, Marché (pronounced as Mar-shay), stands for 'market' in French.

THE FIRST THING THAT CAUGHT MY ATTENTION.

Ming's high & idk why.

I have a thing for pie & pastries #sheunfact
if only i can afford the calories tho

I love "Did You Know-s" :)

The interior design is fantastic. I felt like i wasn't in Malaysia anymore ! We were given a "passport" upon entering the restaurant. Sorry, i forgottten to take a photo of the "passport" :( It's actually a card, hmmm. It's self service in the restaurant so you can walk to the "stalls" you like and put your order, you'll get a stamp on your passport, and when you're done eating, you'll have to submit your passport for bills la. Mind you, just in case you think you can go around and eat all you like then "accidentally lose"/throw away your passport so you donb't have to pay, a fine of RM200 will be imposed! Unless you think you are going to eat over RM200 so you can just go ahead and eat then pay RM200 for losing you card? Okay don't listen to me, i don't think people are crazy enough for that and they would probably staple a new card if you actually eat that much.

The's also a playground in the restaurant! But nobody goes there lol
even kids are occupied and fascinated by the food they offer so they don't go around being annoying misbehaving heh :)

Mushroom beef quiche.
I loved it but my mum didn't.

Australia Meetball Cheese.

Half Roasted Chicken.

Mushroom Soup.

I saw tons of tips on foursquare reccomenind mushroom soup so i gave it a try and yes, it's heavenly.
Not those mushroom soup they commonly serve which is probably made by those powdered store brought ones.
This mushroom soup is phenomenon!

Sorry for the messy mushrooms, I collided with my sister :( But you can see clearly that they have all sorts of stuff in the soup which is clearly not from powdered mushroom soups

Oh not to forget, the soup is still smooth!

Roasted Chicken Crepe.

This is highly recommended too ! I had to fight the urge to order another serving of this. Seriously.

Before leaving, a photo with the signature cow is a must :P

idk why did my mum ask us to take a photo with the cow's ass instead of it's face ............

In my opinion, I loved the restaurant a lot! The entire atmosphere and design of the place is really special and gorgeous, making it very hard to not enjoy the food. It's perfect for a lovely meal date or a wonderful family gathering. Besides, the service was great, everyone was friendly you'll find yourself reflecting their smiles. The food literally gave my taste buds an orgasm - oops haha ! In terms of price, my mum, my youngest sister and i altogether spent two RM50 note there, it's slightly pricey, but still i would say it is worth it :)

Are you drooling ? I made myself hungry by writing this post. Got to go lol bye!

Lots of love,
Sheunny xx
