One day camp at Ikon.

That's what Jess called it.

As the title implies, i'm blogging about my Saturday at Ikon. Saturdays are usually my favourite day of the week, together with Friday of course. Cause for some reasons i can't explain, i do strongly think that both Friday and Saturday are the most productive day of the week so yeah. I usually have tuitions on Saturday, we had this three-month 特工队 (sorry i have no idea what is it called in English, just in case you don't know mandarin, well, they are.. classes... yes classes.) at Super (aka Pusat Tuisyen Sri Teras) so that was how i spent my Saturday mornings and afternoon for the past three months, I do enjoy my tuitions but i find it very restricting as the classes are only available on Saturday so I have no choice but to give up everything that falls on Saturdays for the past three months. Don't get me wrong here, i am not complaining, as i said, i do like the classes as it helps me to keep track of my revision so yeah. Finally our three month program has come to an end. So i am free on Saturdays again!

Okay, not really, we still have some extra classes or study groups on Saturdays but i decided to go on a study date with my favourite girl, Jess. We went to Ikon which was opened few weeks back for a food hunt, i mean, to find a place to study and not get glucose level depletion. If you ask me, i would not pay Ikon a second visit in anytime soon because there is not much shops opened yet.

our first stop :)

Nerds .

her phone is more interesting than me :(
idk why my front camera makes my lips so pink..

i forgotten it's name but it sure taste good.

#sheunfact : i love taro balls. a lot.

After sharing a bowl of dessert, we were still craving for food so we went to get some bread from the bakery next door. I forgotten to take a picture of the bakery, it was a really beautiful bakery, the interior, exterior, the breads and everything looked really good. However, both Jess & I don't find their bread tasty.

their plastic bag..

they look good. but taste passable only. so not worth the price.

or maybe we just coincidentally picked three of their not so good looking ones and there are better ones.

We were given a 20% off voucher for our next visit as our purchase exceeds RM10 but i doubt i would revisit them.

long sleeve & shorts heh :)

she has eyebrows already!

*Jess went for eyebrow embroidery.*

I used to tease her for having no eyebrows but now she has pretty ones.

Our third stop. The Latte Place. It was pretty crowded around 11am when we first got there, there was even people lining outside the cafe. Everyone was there for brunch i guess.

House Egg Ben.

Taken by iPhone's chrome filter i guess. It looks so good.

the egg.. i cannot... !

I loved the roasted potato cubes too !

*drools*

Beef Sandwich.

okay i failed.

that's Jess stealing...wait what was that.

I just realised the menu says "baked potato" but we were given "fried potato"
It was like hashbrown, oh i love hashbrows. #guiltypleasure

Nevertheless, it still taste finger licking good besides being slightly too oily.

asians at work.

Jess told me to cut it into half and take again and so i did.

We did not order any drinks since we decided not to spend too much on food (/drinks). haha. But there was complimentary plain water so yay :D There was also wifi haha just saying. There was also wifi at Black Ball. Just saying haha. Wifi saves mobile data and battery. Okay, ignore me.

Going out with her makes me fat, luckily we don't hang out much ahaha. Just kidding. She's the queen of good food so yeah, she manages to persuade me into eating everything. Once in a while, YOLO meal is allowed la.

Fyi, YOLO meal is a positive term for cheat meal where I eat "not-so-clean" food haha.

Last but not least, a polaroid :) I really really like polaroids. She just gotten a new polaroid camera but i wished she bought an instax share instead. I mean you get to choose what to print with your instax share to ensure you don't get unsatisfying pictures printed out, isn't that better? But according to her, instax share costs more and the photos aren't "original" (aka might be ugly). Just saying.

If i didn't lose my iPhone and need to get a new phone i would have requested for an instax share for my birthday but sighs i'll just settle with my current Redmi note and stop complaining. Instax share can wait..

That's all for now. Should be studying for SPM. 22 days to SPM.

Lots of love,
Sheunny
