Singapore 2014 (3) ft Universal Studio Singapore.

It was the day Jess & I have been anticipating for ages. This is probably the biggest attraction among everything we planned- Universal Studio! In fact USS is like one of the must-go place if you visit Singapore. Without further ado, let's begin our journey!

So i took the MRT w Pris & Jess, to Vivo City. Pris & I took the broadwalk from Vivocity to Sentosa, it was a fifteen minutes walk if you walk at normal leisure pace, there's also a few travelator so no worries, it is impossible for you to be too tired for USS later, in fact you'll feel as if someone injected you with two thousand batteries at the sight of USS haha at least that's what I felt la. Jess on the other hand took their Sentosa Express which was 4SGD. I prefer walking cause i get to burn extra calories as well as enjoying the view as i walk. I would suggest taking the broadwalk :D Oh btw, you have to pay 1SGD too for the broadwalk. Still worthy la! Taking the Sentosa Express from USS to Vivocity is free tho so you'll get to take the SE after all haha so don't worry that you'l be too tired to walk back. How considerate of them haha!

We then meet up with Jess at Slappy Cakes!

Bought these tarts at a bakery shop at the LRT station beforehand.

They were lovely!
Apple, Chocolate, Strawberry, Blueberry & Mango :D

I MADE THAT HEART SHAPE PANCAKE!

idk i'm just a very girly girl haha (my friends always tell me that) and i love heart shapes and all the cheesy stuff :P

Mushroom, ham/bacon & cheese omg *drools*

Did Slappy Cake make you drool??? It was freaking delicious. You get to choose your pancake batter from wide choice of flavours made from scratch daily and your own combination of toppings to add in your pancake. Everything comes in bottles and bowls so you'll have to make your very own pancakes at the pan on each table. It was super duper nice omg. The family from Portland who started this restaurant are geniuses, no joke. It's currently unavailable yet in Malaysia tho :(

It was half an hour before USS opens for operation,

we thought the crowd at the entrance might lessen when the people start entering

but no,
the crowds grows

double in size

every

minute

omg.

it was insane.

see that spaces? just trying to emphasize my point haha !

Oh hi. I get excited whenever i see anything related to Malaysia when i'm overseas lolol

My Aunt got us our tickets a month in advance online haha :D

Jess was still taking her time, enjoying her pancakes at Slappy Cakes so Pris & I went in first, not wanting to lose any time. The first section was Hollywood. It's my favourite section of the entire park. I'll get back to that later on. We zoomed through everything and headed straight to Madagascar on the left.

Pris & I :D

finally getting a selfie while being in the queue like what else can you do hahah joking!

super excited ahah
Madagascar : A Crate Adventure - CHECKED!
It was a  pleasant river boat ride :D

There's a board stating the waiting time for each of the rides. On our first ride, it was 5 mins. Our second, it was 15mins already, can you imagine it?

Far Far Away was next on the list. It was also my favourite because how beautiful everything was there, the castles and everything *melts* told you i can be a very very girly-girl! haha

Sherk 4-D adventure- CHECKED!
It was a really enjoyable "journey" with Sherk to save Fiona.

After Far Far Away is The Lost World which i forgotten to take photo of. We did went back there later on to have one last look of the park before we left USS.

Canopy Flyer- CHECKED!
It was a roller coaster which gives us a bird eye view of the Jurassic Park.
Tbh, i hadn't watch Jurassic Park before so this section was slightly less interesting to me.

Next, Ancient Egypt!

Treasure Hunter- CHECKED!
The queue by then was ridiculously unbearable and this ride was just ..meh. It was already lunch time so we went skipped everything else and headed for lunch first.

// Passing by the New York streets. I love the "feel" there!

And then it started snowing! haha. They have this special snowing session at New York during specific times in conjunction of Christmas, making our USS trip extra special and memorable :')

so ugly i cannot hahahahaa
We had this 15SGD voucher which came together with our USS tickets. You know, getting your tickets online and looking for the best deals definitely have it's perks and helps you to save both time and money.

But we only get to spend our vouchers in three dining places.

Option 1.

Chinese food obviously but we decided against eating here.

she says she love Elmo.

Option 2, Mel's Drive-In.

Overpriced fast food lol. We bought The Double Double set which was surprisingly very good!

The restaurant is big but there isn't a single vacant seat at all!

each voucher was 5SGD.

Since it was raining outside and there was no available seats for us to share the burger, we went to KT's Grill aka KT's Bar and took a table. Fortunately they didn't forbid us for bringing in outside food haha maybe because it was drizzling?

Sorry for the blurry pic, it was really big, couldn't have finish it alone and there's fries too!

Eating burger with a fork.

Signature Beef Battered Fish n Chips.
It was passable la, the serving was pretty big too.

Potato Salad.
This however wasn't really satisfying.

KT's Shepard Pie.
My fav dish on the table haha.

Sesame Street Spaghetti Space Chase - CHECKED!

snow on my hair!

Crazy hair.

Lights, Camera, Action! - CHECKED!
I enjoyed the show a lot, it was really interesting & vivid! :D

The only misfortune that happened was this.

The roller coaster was under maintenance :(

Back again to Ancient Egypt to continue our journey heh.

Jess was still engrossed in SS street shows so Pris & I went for other rides.

Revenge of the Mummy- CHECKED!
OUR FAV RIDE. We took the single rider lane because it was way way faster than the normal lane so we get to ride the ride for like 3 times. I'll explain about the single rider lane later.

After that, we ran all the way back again to Hollywood for their festive special Sesame Street Saves Christmas show.

Jess seemed to be obsessed with SS so she came early on her own lol
The show was wonderful. It was a twenty minute show with a lot of dancing and singing all those Chritmas songs, i'm so glad Jess insisted to not miss the show.

oh have i mentioned that my favourite festive season of all times is Christmas? #sheunfact
& I really really love Christmas songs, i can play them all year round and annoy the hell out of everyone around hahaa #sheunfact

After that, we went to Sci-Fi city again .

Oh, we took the single rider lane again. That's the definition of Single rider haha

I made a quote "don't be afraid to be single." for the single riders haha because you'll somehow end up in the same round as your friend/family or whoever you are going for the ride with , maybe just a few seats away from each other but you do not need to stick to them at all times especially during the rides since you'll be too engaged in the ride. You get what i mean? And in the end you save a lot of time and earn yourself more rides.

There's only single rider lanes at certain rides, i think there should be SRL for all rides and all parks everywhere.

TRANSFORMERS The Ride : The Ultimate 3D Battle - CHECKED.
I'm not a big fan of Transformer, i think it's a "boy thing" ok, sorry i'm not trying to be gender stereotyping but I am just not into Transformer la. But then the thing is this is awesome. Period.

That was our last ride because it was getting late and we had to leave in time so we can catch the LRT back home.

It's kinda unfortunate that we don't get to try out this ride :(
It looked so interesting but the waiting time is sick.

one of my fav pic haha. not so typical.

Water world. We only dropped by to take a look as we were too late for the show :/

We took our last tour at USS heavy heartedly!

so beautiful :') I wished i had more time here.

hashtag typical

Those people behind us tho lolol

i really like this.

There were "attractions" - the rides, "shopping" - the beautiful shops that sells exclusive and exquisite souvenirs & "street entertainment" - casts from the movies on the streets at each sections.

Planning out your whole journey so that you won't miss out any special shows or street entertainment beforehand is highly recommended.

Although USS isn't really big, a day is not enough to explore the whole park thoroughly if you ask me! I wished i had more time there or the queues weren't so time consuming :(

Christmas tree outside vivocity.

The story doesn't ends there! As we was about to get on the LRT, i realised that my wallet was missing! I was so forgetful. I have no idea how am i so clumsy. I thought i didn't bring it out but Jess told me i did take it out in the restaurant then it hit me! I dropped my wallet on the floor at KT's bar but i was too lazy to pick it up so i thought of picking it up later when we were done eating since it seats weren't exactly spacious. However i ended up forgetting all about it.

Can you freaking believe it?

I panicked. Luckily we have the number of the restaurant so we called them. I swear my heart stopped beating. I have only a hundred plus ringgit and a little singapore dollar in there ( yes i know i said i forgotten to bring my money during my first post, actually i did bring , i just misplaced it and think that i didn't bring. OKAY, JUST KIDDING but it's possible too considering how awfully forgetful/clumsy i am. I didn't bring the Singapore money my mum gave me, i did bring my wallet with a little Malaysia money. ) Have i confused you yet?

Okay, so the thing is I left my wallet at the restaurant and I have my Malaysian Identification Card in there! I freaked out. My mum would kill me if she knows i lost it. It's very troublesome to make a new one and more importantly, it's really dangerous to lose your IC, imagine what people can do with it.

Fortunately, they did have my wallet and they kept it for me. I almost burst into tears. I started running all the way to USS again from the LRT in Vivocity. It took me 8mins haha when there's an emergency, you can run so fast that you can never imagine yourself doing it lolol ok, hashtag vain.

Then i ran all the way back again and that's how we ended day three in Singapore haha.

I hope you enjoyed this post as much as i enjoyed writing it. No Monday Blues tomorrow kay! *winks*

xoxo,
Sheunny
