I admit I've been neglecting my blog. I admit i do have time to blog but i just couldn't find an inspiration to blog. I don't want a crappy post so i refuse to publish anything I've drafted. Summary post at the end of every month is a must though and i love blogging about the highlights of my life every month so here i go.
The month kick started with a house warming party at my Uncle Jason's new house slash mini birthday celebration for my dear cousin Yao. My grandparents, together with my new born cousin and her family came from hometown to gather with us for the occasion. So did my cousin Priscilla and her family from Singapore. It couldn't have been more perfect. It's been so long since I last saw them.

He was eating and i called him. |

He looked up. |

How can such a mischievous little boy look so innocent omg |
 |
And then he tried to block my camera (phone) |
 |
I told him i don't want noodles on my phone. |
 |
He turned his fork the other way round (so there's no noodles) and attempted to block me again lol |
Sorry but not sorry for the photo spam haha

This is da bomb! not sure wha is it called but mmmmmmm |

My beloved grandparents and their youngest grandchild
Fun fact : I'm their oldest grandchild lol #sheunfact |
I picked up a job, like finally, at Glasshouse. It was my first official job ever. Fyi, I'm 18 (well, officially 18 on August 31 actually but still, 18). I couldn't be happier. I am bow a part time barista. I have only worked for three shifts so far. I have a lot more to learn but i have already gotten the hang of how everything ticks and I can't wait to be able to handle everything without the help of my mentors.

I look fat here but whatever lol |
I'm at the fattest stage in my whole entire existent. I'm currently approximately 11kgs heavier than my lowest weight last year. Who would have thought right? I've always been working out consistently but it's probably my messed up diet and my insufficient sleep, not to mention the pressure from the workload in my current course that is killing me. I've joined the gym for good. It's been three weeks now, the scale on the weighting machine hadn't budge a single bit yet but i feel much better. I shall strive for physical results i guess. Screw my weight.

I went for a one day job as a Milo Breakfast Day Run event set up crew. It was a pretty easy job actually. I felt like a robot, receiving the drawstring bag from the previous station, inserting packets of Milo Nuggets into the bag and passing it to the next station. I lost count how many times i've repeated the action. I had fun though. I only went because HL asked me to actually and i'm glad i did. A little extra cash to spend, why not haha.

We also celebrated Wing Yee's birthday in advance. We wanted to surprise her but i guess she's just too smart and guessed it lol. We had our Super Gang gathering at Hometown Steamboat during dinner. We surprise/ took out the cake after we finished our food. Took ages to light up the candles and then sang birthday songs loudly in various languages. After that, we crashed over to Yenyi's because he didn't make it to the first celebration. We sang the birthday songs again at his house. I had a really good time with them.

the reason i picked Hometown Steamboat as our gathering venue lol
I've always wanted to try this. it resembles the one from haagen dazs but bigger portion and cost lesser haha |

my girls :) |
I watched the movie, Unfriended with my course mates at Mid Valley. We go to Mid Valley a lot because it's the closest shopping mall to our campus lol. I have no idea why are all the reviews i heard about the movie so good because i really didn't like the movie at all. Almost the whole movie was on a laptop/computer screen. Imagine how smart the producers are by saving so much money to set up the scenes for the movie. No matter how bad a horror movie is, at least the sound systems will scare you a little, or at least there's jump scare. But that's not the case for this movie. It sucks. I have to say that i'm utterly disappointed by the movie. Anyways it was still a great outing with my course mates la.

I had a very very very impromptu trip to Malacca with my course mates too. We've been talking about a road trip to Malacca a few months back but we never get to do it. We only have an two hour class on Friday and I'm not going home til Saturday so the idea of going to Malacca popped into my mind and in less than 12 hours, off we went. It was too impromptu so we didn't have the destinations planned out nicely. We visited Jonker Walk though. It wasn't as interesting as i imagined it to be. Nevertheless it was a great journey!

Meet my junior haha :P |
 |
Everyone |
 |
The boys were up there lol |
 |
visited the ship place it was under maintainece so we didn't get to visit the musuem part which i think was quite unfair since they didn't tell us about it when we bought our tickets hmm |
 |
tried the famous coconut shake but i prefer the coconut ice creams I've tried elsewhere lol
|
Our results for Semester 1 also came out this month, i got 3.70 for my CGPA. IFortunately it wasn't too bad, i am so relieved that i passed my Maths haha. I have no idea how those people get 4.0. I shall double up the effort and score better for Semester 2!

Jesslyn came to visit me twice this month. I brought her to Glasshouse every time because i work there and I'm proud of it lolol. We might have went separate ways deep own we are never separated, ever ;)
Last but not least, we celebrated Mr Yew's birthday. *i know you are reading this Mr Yew haha!* I'm not sure if he knew we were goin gto celebrate his birthday but i guess he did since he is so ridiculously intelligent. I merely told him i wanted to try out Nadeje the day before the celebration and he agreed. I quickly gathered my friends and we hopped on his car after class the next day to Nadeje cake shop.
 |
My fav photo heh The cakes were really good. I loved them. We shared all the cakes haha |
 |
They weren't full enough so we went for Mr Yew's favourite ramen place at SS2.
We had a great time listening to Mr Yew's stories. Who would have knew he would be a man with so much interesting stories? He used to be our lecturer but now that he's no longer teaching us, he's our friend heh ;)

That's pretty much the highlights of the month. It was indeed another great and memorable month. I hope June would be the same if not better. Happy June everyone!
