August Post.

We are one week into September already and here i am with my August summary post. Late again as usual. I sure am horrible at managing...my life in general sighs such a wreck.

The month started off with Famine 30 which i joined at HELP CAT. Click here if you missed out on that post.

i was trying to select a few photos from my previous post to be added here, i clicked in the"from your phone" section and saw this so i selected it and it started moving HAHAHA magic. Anyways, i like it haha


Then i went for food hunt with some of my secondary school mates. We planned to go to CuBs & CuPs but it was, just so coincidentally, closed on that day, due to final stages of maintenance work, we were so lucky, i know. So we went to Gangnam 88 at Solaris Mont Kiara for lunch. Based on the name of the restaurant, it is obviously a Korean restaurant.

Decided to play with GIFs in this post. So here's the interior design of the restaurant.

Next we went to Publika for Coffee Stain By Joseph.

I had their drinks here before and it wasn't really special except the fancy appearance which is, i guess, what they are famous for? My friends ordered the coffee with 3D art (which i ughhhhh forgotten to take photos of), I decided to try out their toast instead, it was nothing special too. I guess two visits to Coffee Stain is more than enough lol

My coursemates also threw my dear friend, Yee Ern and I a surprise birthday celebration in advance at Manhattan Fish Market, Mid Valley because we are both August babies and we will be overwhelmed with tons of tests and examinations soon. I will blog more about it in another post, stay tuned! ;)

I also went cafe hopping but not really, lol food hunting la, with my coursemates after prom dress hunting. Since the boutique we visited was nearby uptown, we went to Uptown Damansara. We visited Village Park,  Every Sundae by Cielo Dolci and Soft Srve. 

The serving was huge, at least for me, but not for Viv haha

The amount of customers they have is crazy and almost everyone ordered this Nasi Lemak which they are famous for and so did the five of us.

I am not a big fan of Nasi Lemak so i didn't actually tasted the difference between this Nasi Lemak and other Nasi Lemak la.
Nevertheless, it was tasty :) 

This ice cream place was located next to Village Park and it was such a hot day so we decided to give it a try, and since all of us were pretty stuffed from one big plate of Nasi Lemak, but we somehow have space for desserts, we ordered one for sharing haha. 

 Here, you get to build your own sundae, you will be spoilt for choice, we couldn't decide what to get so we got one of their recommendations, which name i forgotten (sorry!), it sounded something with Tokyo or Summer i think.  

The green tea soft serve was delicious. The waffle base was slightly disappointing as it was too dry and lack of flavour. The toppings which i couldn't name were quite interesting though, i like! We added the cotton candy because we thought it looked good but it was didn't really taste that good.  It was RM21-ish if i am not mistaken hmm.

Soft Serv was within walking distance too and i always wanted to give it a try so we went there. We bought two ice creams, Cereal Milk Fluffy and Deep Chocolate Churros for sharing again.

 The deep chocolate one went really well with the churroes, it was warm and cripsy at the outside, soft and chewy on the inside! The cotton candy on the Cereal Milk was lovely too because salt was sprinkled on it, so there's a tad bit of saltiness to compliment the sweetness of the soft serve.  Personally i prefer the deep chocolate one.

Just in case you are wondering why did i stop making GIFs, well, the photos have different orientations so they make messy GIFs so i gave up lol so this is gonna be a very long and loaded post. 

I also visited Haraju Cube at Empire Damansara like finally. Thanks to Mr Yew who brought us there haha I've been wanting to go there since forever weih. Haraju Cube wasn't open yet when we reached there, not sure why, i forgotten. But Zoe was hungry so we went to Boat Noodles. I've been wanting to try Boat Noodles since forever too.

Haraju Milk in Butter Scoth and Coffee. 

A lot of people says that this is too expensive, overrated, overpriced, but i do not think so. I enjoyed every single bite of it. In addition, the portion is very big so its very filling, it can even replace a meal for two so i think it's very worth it.  The milk was delicious too, it tasted rich and creamy.

Next i had my second birthday celebration with my favourite people on earth, Super Gang. It was initially a surprise for Alex then MW then i got a surprise celebration too. There's way too many photos for this so i guess I'll make a separate post for this.

Last but not least, birthday celebration on my birthday itself, which is the last day of August, with my dearest family. I will blog about it, again, in another post so stay tuned!

I guess that's all for this post. I feel so accomplished for finishing this post lolol hope you enjoyed reading it! Btw, it's so hard to believe we are at the last quarter of 2015 already gosh!
