Chapter One of 2016 ft my pre-u life.

Honestly do not know what to say in my summary post for January but it's a tradition to do a summary post for each month so i figure i would come up with something. I just realise it's been ages since the last time i have actually been wordy. I'm blaming it on FIS.

Given another chance, i would not want to take FIS in MAHSA. The reason i took FIS in MAHSA is because I was told that I wouldn't stand a chance to enter DDS due to the limited seats available unless i take FIS in MAHSA, to avoid disappointment, enter January intake. I would say, never trust the marketing department (in MAHSA at least, i'm not sure about other colleges or universities since i've never experience any). Most of the times the people from the marketing department make up stories to persuade you into paying and accepting whatever they say. DDS is not widely offered in many universities and MAHSA is considered the nearest to my house so we picked MAHSA. Turns out, i found people from A Levels, Matriculation and even FIS from other places entering DDS in MAHSA. Yes the seats are indeed limited but it is not compulsory to enter FIS in MAHSA to get in DDS in MAHSA.

If anyone were to ask me if they should enter FIS in MAHSA, i would say no, a thousand times. Half of the lecturers sucks. In sem 1, we had six subjects and three lecturers were good. The subjects were less challenging in sem 1, except Maths 1, which i considered was inhuman. In sem 2 we had four subjects, three science with Maths 2. Bio 1 lecturer lectures like a robot, she speaks very soft in monotone, in other words, she's trying to help us get back the sleep we've been missing out. Chem 1 lecturer has her mood swings, sometimes she cancel lectures at last minute for no reasons. Phy 1 lecturer always uses her kids as a excuse to be lazy, she thinks she's the only busy one. Maths 2 lecturer was the most useless lecturer i've ever met i thought, but that was because i hadn't enter Sem 3, trust me, all my friends agree. In sem 3 we had three science subs again with Biomedical Science (BMS). Bio 2 lecturer is good, i liked her, i was like, finally a good lecturer again. Phys 2 lecturer doesn't really knows how to teach, and she constantly speak in Malay, poor foreign students who don't understand Malay is always left out, but they soon ignored her anyways. Chem 2 lecturer was pretty good too, luckily, as chem 2 was pretty challenging. We had several lecturers for BMS, one of it was the lab assistant, another one, won the worst lecturer award. Our biomedical Physics lecturer, Ms F*'s (no it's not what you think, her name is Falina but i can't write that out so directly, oh well) notes makes no sense at all. I have no idea where she got it from. All the answers for her tutorials can be found online, the exact same questions with same order and same words can be found online too,  copy and paste, how easy. Don't even bother asking her anything because she never have the answer to it, no joke. Since kindergarten til now, she is officially the most useless person i've ever met. The funniest part is, whenever she enters the class, half of the students would not enter the class. I attended every single class la cause i'm a good student lol. In addition, we don't have lectures in lecture halls and separated tutorial classes. And the air conditioner in our classroom keeps me sweating in the class. The library requires a lot of stairs climbing too, i guess MAHSA is also concerned about our health. The seats in the library is very limited, so are the reference books. I still go to the library quite a lot for the sake of the air con since it feel like an oven in my hostel room most of the times. The canteen generally serves mixed rice like the common stalls outside la, so you can expect it to be very oily cause they are not your mothers, they do not care about your health. I do go to the gym in MAHSA for a few months, it was quite cheap, only RM25/month excluding GST lol, it was quite small but enough for me, it's not like i know how to use all the equipments also, i just wanted to be fit. At first it was okay until September where most of the courses have new intakes, the tiny gym got really crowded and i stopped going to the gym.

Disclaimers: whatever i said was based purely on my own opinion.

Okay, didn't realise it was such a rant. If you read everything up there, um, nothing will happen lol.

It was just a very tough year for me la. Let me rant for a while that's it okay.

Study week (which is the week of "holiday" before the final examination for every semester) had been horrible. I decided to stay in my hostel instead of being at home as i thought it's too relaxing to study at home and i'll be more focused in my campus. But it had been a horrible week, i'm probably too stressed out for my finals, i had less than four hours of sleep every night. I would get really tired from my revision so i would try to push myself a little more before i go to bed, however my brain will stop taking in anything and then when i decide to sleep, i get insomnia. I will try to sleep, however i will wake up like 3am in the morning and be unable to fall back asleep. How bad it that. Then i'll try to study. I'm not sure if anything even went in my brain. Oh well, i'm just so glad it's over. I lost count how many times i said that.

I've studied the whole year for my SPM (2014) , yes i used to be like super duper hardworking i don't mean to brag but i was so disciplined, i go to school, come home, revise, do my model papers, re-do my model papers, go to tuition. Then when SPM is over, i get a tiny break, then i started FIS in MAHSA. I never had a break ever since. There is ALWAYS a test after the break which means i don't get to relax much. I have to say I'm not a smart person, i'm just hardworking. Hardworking alone doesn't really work that well after secondary school. It was just a really tough year, as i've mentioned. I'm so glad i'm finally having a break.

So enough of MAHSA.

I have been really wordy haha. I'm glad. I actually love writing. So besides studying for finals and finishing my finals, I also went to Klang which i've blogged about, and also had our post finals treat, which i've also blogged about.

I guess that's all for now. I'm gonna blog again, soon.

Yours truly,
Sheunny
