Went to KLCC on the first of May for some home decoration fair. That's not the main point cause the main point is i get to stop by at Chateraise Patisserie at Isetsan!! I saw Cheesie posted a photo of it on her IG & i set myself a mental note to check it out because the cakes are imported from Japan, how can i resist? I remember the time Aunt Grace brought us to a cake shop in Japan, the cakes tasted heavenly. I'm not joking.
After queing for about 20 minutes, i manged to grab four cakes. They were all nicely packed with a jelly-like pack to keep the cakes cold, as well as a tiny plastic spoon in a plastic wrapping. What can i say? The thoughts and effort in packaging is 10/10. Had the cakes for breakfast the next morning with my fam.

Sorry not sorry for the cake spam because they are too beautiful to not spam. The cakes tasted lovely, they melt in your mouth and next melt your heart. i think the cakes are more on the lighter side instead of the rich side. So you can eat ten slices and still not get sick of the taste. I have to say, the strawberries are actually yummy, unlike the ones you usually get on random cakes which is sour and ugh-ish.
I'm sorry i'm terrible at describing and i don't have the words to describe how delicious the cakes are. Definitely worth it! Can't wait to head over and try more.
I met up with Mak at IKON. I sure missed my homegirl! I'm so glad things never changed between us after all these years. It was a great great catch up session. We also gave in to our sweet tooth to compensate for the calories we burn from getting excited to see each other lol

Snapchat quality photos because i was too occupied to take photos with my camera. We had a Haru toast at Haru Japanese Bakery Cafe. It was only half of the price of Haraju Cube at Empire Damansara but the toast there was much bigger and better tasting. Nevertheless it was quite decent for it's price. We also had Black Balls because taro ball is love.
Is it a thing for people nowadays to say something is love, when they just simply love that particular something lol

I also visited Clawset Cafe *screams finally!!* I don't call myself a dog person but how can i resist such cute dogs?? The cafe is situated at the second floor and i was greeted with dogs when i arrived at the door, how cute! Despite having dogs around as well as a pet shop beside the cafe, it didn't smell like.. pets in the cafe. I don't know about you but i am not really fond of the smell of pet shops. No offence. Clawset Cafe was really clean and well organized. The dogs were very well behaved too. I had their savory waffle, it was actually quite delicious!
She stood on my lap obediently the whole time |
i really liked the meat balls heh. |
this pomeranian caught my attention the moment i set my foot in Clawset but it was too.. excited i guess that it keeps jumping and barking so i didn't carry it lol |
I made pizza with Mama Lau. I don't remember if i made pizza before previously but i sure won't forget this one! Turns out it's actually pretty easy to make a pizza, all you need is an oven! Everything else can be done with your bare hands.Instead of baking cookies, muffins and cakes, i ventured into making breads and pizzas now. I was so proud of my pizza so i had to include it in this entry lolol. Papa Lau actually said it tastes better than Pizza Hut le.

For our Mothers Day dinner we went to a food court lol. We don't do the cliche fancy meal for Mothers Day knowing how packed the restaurants will be. I also tried Pulut Mayam for the first time lol.

I collected my RM250 book voucher, thank you government, and spent them happily at MPH. I'm not sure if i've mentioned this but i love books and i always wanted to own a mini library myself. #sheunfact
Books nowadays are so pricey, dear government, please give me more vouchers.
I also celebrated WY's birthday at her house with SG. It wasn't much of a surprise but it was still a pleasant celebration. I am grateful for every moment spent with them :)
Last but not least, I went to Cassey (aka Blogilates)'s meet up. Zespri invited her from USA to "Wake Up with Zespri event at Desa Parkcity. I went with Mama Lau. It was such a fun morning. I was totally thrilled and psyched to see her. She's such a wonderful person :') Will be making a separate entry soon because this post is getting too long hehs
