Make The Days Count.

It's August, my favourite month, my birthday month *HINTING* lol jk.. I decided to do something new and inspiring (at least to myself) this month. I'm planning to do this for this entire month, not sure if I'll continue doing it next month but it would be cool if i could. I hope it's not just a fleeting interest haha. I've been reading Cin City aka Tey Cindy's blog for quite some time now. I like her content very much, everything is very light yet inspiring. She does this "Five Cinspiration" thing where she lists things that were meaningful for her. I enjoyed reading them a lot and i was really inspired to do the same. My birthday falls on the last day of this month so i think completing this whole project i decided to work on would be a really wonderful gift for myself, emotional wise.

There's a quote i really like, "Don't count the days, make the days count." So that is exactly what i'm gonna do ;) so here goes:

finally picked up a paint brush and did a little art work as my cover page for August in my bullet journal
& yes i've just started bullet journalling this month,
just trying it out and see if it suits me

speaking of art,
this is my fav kinda art.
since art is something so abstract, i call this art.
it's actually my muffin mix *yums*
Baked these vanilla muffins with cranberries.
might or might not have OD on cranberries but there's no harm in having more cranberries in a bite isn't?
they turned out slightly too dry, so there's a crumbly touch #positive lol

just realised i hadn't been posting anything i've baked on my IG lately so here's one.

I've always loved baking but i dare not say that i'm a very good baker yet.

joined a Fun Run in Nilai
 because RX invited me along
because Jimmy's one of the committee haha
Jimmy has supportive girlfriend & friend & sister.

My favourite thing in the run was actually these glow sticks lol
Was a pleasure meeting Jimmy's sister too!

finally tried this Hokkaido Ice Cream Puff.
There's this little shop that has recently been opened at Sungai Long.
Being the dessert lover i am, i knew i had to give it a try.

I picked green tea and that person told me green tea is their best seller.
It was quite a generous amount of ice cream with a lovely puff.
Not sure where is the "Hokkaido" tho.

It's only RM3.80 which is pretty reasonable. It was certainly worth the try :)
Avoid ordering when there's a queue though cause the service isn't really efficient.
When i was there, there were only two customers before me,
so i only waited for approximately five minutes
i also went hiking with Shawn & JH.
Sad to say Sungai Long Hill changed a lot. Most of the trees and plants are gone.
Nevertheless it was a productive (healthy) way to kick start our weekend morning.

Pretty sure everyone knows about Pokemon Go.
I went on a tiny Pokemon hunt with RX & her bro
it was so much fun!

I kinda suck at it actually lol
but i like the idea of moving around to look for them
instead of just staying put at one spot.

tried the new McD Rio burger.
Couldn't recall when was the last time i had a McD burger
but i think this was pretty good.

I guess that's all for now. Can't wait to be back for another entry like this soon!

Love,
Sheunny
