I turned 19 officially in August. I had a not-so-surprised-surprise-celebration from my favourite people, I celebrated over lunch with my family. I had another lunch with my old friend as a birthday treat. It wasn't much but it was memorable, it was also a nice feeling to know that people remembers you. It's the thought that matters, they say.

| You know how people call birthday 破蛋日? A direct translation would be break egg day, meaning the day you are born la. So i found my egg. PS i recently realise i make very weird expressions unconsciously haha it leads to some awkward situations sometimes and i'll be very clueless, now i know why haha! Birthday Lunch at Manhanttan Fish Market. We ordered one of their set meals for the crab. The crab was really big but the taste was merely mediocre. Nothing beats the crabs at my Grandpa's! |

We really went all out, ordered all the add-ons available with the set. We were really really really full after the meal. In fact i could barely eat dinner afterwards lol.
Oh here's a story about how Manhattan Fish Market "disallowed" me to celebrate my birthday:
FYI, if you dine in during your birthday you get a tower of drinks and desserts for free. I've celebrated with my friends a few times there previously. However, the waiter told us that those treats weren't available on public holidays. Just to clarify, i'm not desperate for the treats la, we ordered so much we could barely even finish. Okay, the thing is, my birthday falls on a public holiday, i didn't choose the date myself. Why can't i get a treat?
Not sure if you get what i'm trying to say but it's okay if you don't lolol.
Oh the other big thing, in my opinion la, besides my birthday this month, was the RIO Olympics! Malaysia did a fantastic job this Olympics. We never won so many medals before. I'm so proud of all our medalist! It might sound cliche but my favourite match has to be the one between LCW & LD. I believe everyone knows what i'm talking about eh? It was such a legendary match. Even though LCW didn't win the gold medal again, but he won LD this time, after losing the gold medal to him twice previously. It was such a touching sight when they hugged each other after the match! I have to say, if there's one person who deserves the gold medal, it would be LCW. Of course, he is already, without doubt, the gold in our hearts. His hard work and dedication is definitely admirable. Can't wait for the next Olympics! hehs
