Chapter Nine of 2016.

I almost forgotten to make an entry to summarise my ..fruitful (?) September. Am i getting old?

Let's see, September started off pleasantly with loads of precious family time as my relatives came for a short stay. I couldn't emphasise enough how much i love having everyone gathered together <3

Following, I met up with Jess & Walter to celebrate her birthday but we totally forgotten to sing her a birthday song lol. Due to time constraint, not much photos were taken, hence a throwback pic from the previous month when i got her her first 19th birthday present.

I went for a karaoke session with dear RX & her bro at Loud Speaker, C180. Going for karaoke during lunch hour is probably the more budget friendly form of entertainment you can get. With less than RM20, you get to sing for three hours, enjoy a drink as well as a main course of your choice. Personally, i think their cheese-baked-rice are pretty decent.

i couldn't finish the whole thing, so i can assure you it's not as small as it looks.

After that we went for Sukiya at Da:men. It was my first time visiting Da:men as well as trying Sukiya. I have to say Sukiya is not really my thing lol. It would be really worth it if you can eat a lot of meat which i couldn't so yeah. I helped myself with tons of green tea soft serve though. What to do? I just love ice cream lol.

just thought this was beautiful

Next, I moved into MAHSA. Back to hostel life. And had my orientation, which was eight days long btw, super long. And started one week of my lecture. Nothing much to say about that. Oh well.

I had an impromptu day trip to Port Dickson with the Fam. We were on the way to the park then it rained so we changed our destination and ended up in Port Dickson, did some sight seeing and we had McD lolol what an interesting trip isnt? Oh and i caught my Pikachu in Port Dickson. I was overjoyed.

*inserts random pic of self*

Speaking of which, i deleted my Pokemon Go app few days after that because the new update wasn't compatible with my phone and i stopped finding it interesting after catching Pikachu lol. No offence to those who are still avid Pokemon trainers. Go catch em all you guys!

Also, I watched Train To Busan with Jimmy and RX. What is all the hoo-ha about again? It was the second show i watched that's in Korean (first is W). I heard the movie was good but i didn't really like it. I think it's a sad sad movie. I cried, three times throughout the movie. Sad..

And, W-Two Worlds, oh my goodness. The movie really intrigued me with all the least expected plot twists. The ending turned out to be rather..okay. Perhaps i was expecting too much. I have to say, I'm a sucker for happy endings. I think the ending was pretty peaceful and everyone lived happily ever after so yeah.

Not to forget, I sent Jess off at the airport. It was my first time sending people off at the airport, eh no, i sent my Indonesian maid off before when i was in primary lolol but that doesn't count. So yeah, Jess's the first. It felt really strange to see her leaving to somewhere so far away (UK). FYI, I've known her for over a decade. It crazy. I can't wait to visit her one day, soon, hopefully!

remember when i said i have the tendency to close my eyes in pictures? yeah.

<3 <3 <3

Oh hey, and Mooncake festival! We made three different types of moon cakes at home. I'm proud haha!

*couldn't find a pic atm, will upload when i find them!

On Malaysia day i went for a KL sight seeing with the Fam. Knowing how jam-packed the shopping centres would be, we went to the KL Forest Eco Park. I didn't know the place existed until Papa Lau brought us there. Well, i didn't know a lot of other places too of course, until I was brought there lolol. It was a pretty cool place to spend an hour or so in mother nature IN the middle of the most busy city in Malaysia.

i couldn't find another pic //
just to show you the canopy walk featuring the KL Tower.

Last but not least was the white coat ceremony and pool party in MAHSA. And well I'll let the photos do the talking instead.

I guess this ultra-long psot made up for my absence for the past few weeks. Got to go now!
