KOREA PART II ft Seongsan Sunrise Peak

Didn't realise it's been a month since my last Korea trip post, and it's been four months since the trip itself. I really need to be more hardworking lol. So here goes day two of my Korea trip.

Instead of having buffet breakfast in the hotel, we headed out for abalone porridge. I would be lying if i say i can "taste the abalone". But porridge wise, i liked the porridge la, i had a refill.

We visited the Tangerine Farm. Apparently tangerines are a thing in Jeju haha. Our tour guide told us how sweet & juicy their tangerines are, almost claiming to be the best tangerine in the world the way all tour guides would la. I was like, okay let's see. but when we reached the farm, we were given pre-plucked tangerines (we were supposed to pluck ourselves from the farm) because the weather was too cold & the tangerines are damaged or something lolol. they told us we can still go to pluck the tangerines but it won't taste good. tbh i think the tangerines are so so only la, both the tangerines they gave us & the ones i plucked myself. not as good as he claimed haha (as expected hahaha

Teng.

eh not nice la lol

they also sell biscuits, snacks, chocolates, supplements & souvenirs.

these rock statues are really popular in jeju, we see them everywhere!
i believe they are called dol hareubang
(google told me so)

Next, we went to Seongsan Sunrise Peak (Seongsan Ilchulbong). It was quite a challenge to hike up considering how cold it was, how strong the wind was (super chilly!!), how bulky we felt underneath all the clothing, but it was totally worth it. The view was amazing.

got this face mask which extends all the way down my neck yesterday. One of the best thing i've ever done haha.
I totally forgotten about my face & neck when i was packing my luggage, bad mistake.

not wearing a glove on my right hand because i wanted to hold my camera lolol.
things you do  for social media oh well to create memories
another bad mistake, read on to find out why. (next entry)

told you it's super windy right!!

After all that hiking, we needed to replenish some calories haha so we had black pork bbq + volcano fried rice for lunch, it was really delicious!
