So, well as usual first of May, Labour day, public holiday, family day out. I went to Genting Highlands with my family because i haven't been to Sky Avenue. Turns out Sky Avenue is just like any other malls in KL, except there are less shops lolol, butthere's Sky Symphony, which was quite beautiful la.
I went to renew my IC & passport. I remembered i dreaded passport renewals because they take forever, but this time it only took a short wait before it's my turn, the entire process was pretty quick & efficient, the staffs were really nice & friendly too. I did my IC first, then my passport, went for a simple lunch, and got my passport back. The IC took longer. I was given a temporary IC and told to be back for collection in a week's time. In the end i was busy la so Mama Lau took my temporary IC & went to collect my IC for me. So glad there wasn't any hassle! (i've been holding the same IC since i was 12, so it was still the 12yo me on my IC lol, that's why i needed to go renew it)
I also went to watch A Quiet Place with my friends at Dpluze Cyberjaya haha. The movie was pretty good leh, i cried!!! It was really touching okay, the way the dad hand signed to his daughter before sacrificing himself to save his kids :'( & the brave mother who gave birth to her baby all by herself :'(
oh here's a picture of us at our lunch place before going for our movie. cool place i tell you haha |
I also went to watch Truth Or Dare with my friends at IOI City Mall, 2 thrillers in a row haha. Truth or Dare was not bad la, but i prefer A Quiet Place la.

we took a panorama thinking it might be cool lolol quite cool la i think. |
I also went to Papa Lau's clinic and made a teeth whitening kit which is amazingggggg.
I also finally tried The Owl's Cafe. I've been seeing their beautiful waffles on my social media for a while now & i finally got to try them out myself at the One Space. The presentation is really nice la, but then i still prefer Inside Scoop's waffles & ice cream #loyal #diehardfan
Following was DSS Cup dodgeball, the most popular sport among all the DSS Cup sports haha. It was at 1 Shamelin again, just like last year. It was super fun, made some new friends too hehs!

also tried this yogurt + cucumber combo. not bad! super refreshing but one bowl is too filling to be finished alone imo |
I also went for the Inside Scoop's ice cream buffet. I've been wanting to go to their ice cream buffet since forever, i'm not even exaggerating. I've missed it the past 2 years & i finally got to go this year, super happy la! I lost count how many scoops of ice creams i had, so good, so satisfying! The buttermilk waffles weren't as good as they usually were though, maybe it was because they were really rushed? Not sure la but my everlasting love for inside scoop will go on.

Last but not least, I went to Nabila's house for iftar (break fast) with a few of our friends. It was the fasting month hence the ice cream buffet & iftar la. It was such a lovely dinner <3
really liked her homemade curry puff & the cake beside it! |
i'm sorry i'm just too lazy to edit (brighten) pics for my blog lol |
idk why i find this picture really cute! |
