There were so many colours of nail polish to choose from, I was spoilt for choice but eventually i decided to go with pink and white marble design for my gel manicure. During my second visit, i chose a similar shade of pink (can't you tell my favourite colour is pink yet? hahahah) for classic manicure and a series of cyan/ turquoise/ teal for my classic pedicure. I picked a few light shades but they suggested a darker shade for better contrast so i took their recommendation. It turned out pretty well, I knew I was in good hands.

I prefer the gel manicure over the classic manicure and here's why:
1. It sets a lot faster as a UV light is used to dry the nail polish. (It reminds me of the light cure unit i use during tooth restoration to help set the composite material haha!)
- the classic ones needs a mini fan to air dry the nail polish, and it takes a really long time
2. It is incredibly long lasting. My gel nails remained absolutely intact for over 3 weeks before it started chipping off a little bit.
3. Any nail art is possible. I got to get marble designs on my nails when i did my gel manicure, but i could only get some sea shell decorations glued on top of my nail polish for my classic manicure.
Tip: Get gel manicure + classic pedicure, nail polish lasts forever on the toe nails ;)
Speaking of designs, there's a nail printer machine available at their Mutiara Damansara outlet. I got my marble design printed from the machine. It's really quick and fuss free. Mine didn't turn out as well because my nails are really really curvy, more curvy then normal i think (i compared mine with my friends before haha), but if you have normal nails they should turn out just fine :)
Ta-da, this is the nail art printer :) |
I didn't know how relaxing a manicure could be until i experienced one. The nail technicians patiently and professionally clipped, filed and buffed my nails, exfoliated and moisturized my hands and my forearms. I even love how perfectly shaped my nails are! I think i would like to get a manicure done more often now. Overall i had a really pleasant experience on both my visits to Cutiecles the Nail Experts. If you're a manicure/pedicure virgin like i was, i think it's time you try it out for yourself too! Remember, men and children are all welcomed! :)
Here's an on going promotion you guys could check out!
